Players Suspended in Coeur-Oaks Donnybrook
Sunday, June 19th , 2061
If there wasn't a history between Wayne Summers of St. Louis and Claude Moulin of Oakland, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 2 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today.
"We're both really competitive," Summers said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it."
So far this season, Summers has hit .310 with 2 home runs, 14 RBIs and scored 13 times.
So far in 14 appearances this season, Moulin has recorded 6 wins and sustained 1 loss. He has pitched 32.2 innings, yielded 31 hits, fanned 31 and has a 4.41 ERA.
