Cryin' Time: Contreras Retiring Thursday, September 10th, 2043 The Nashville Outlaws will not have the services of Juan Contreras next season. The 37-year-old has announced he will retire at the conclusion of this year. "I've reached my best before date," the Coro, Venezuela native quipped. Taking the mound 104 times in his career, Contreras has compiled an ERA of 4.95 with no saves. He has tossed 560 innings with 389 strikeouts and 198 free passes. Opponents have hit .283 against him.
