Montana Loses Dewitt Hopper, Will Miss Season

Dewitt Hopper has to call it a season. The Montana Pandas first baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Nashville Outlaws and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Hopper was injured while colliding with a player at a base. His doctors diagnosed it as a broken bone in the elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 6 months.

Hopper is hitting .266 this year with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has 46 hits in 173 at-bats, 18 walks and a .342 on-base percentage. Hopper has played in 47 games.
