Ponies Plugged by Hunter, Kingfishers, 7-0 Wednesday, June 5th , 2058 Todd Hunter kept the Kingston Ponies hitters from doing much damage at Pittsburgh Grounds. Kingston could only muster 2 hits and draw no walks against the right-handed Hunter, who controlled them throughout the game. Pittsburgh won the contest, 7-0. Hunter added 13 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Hunter told reporters after the shutout win.
