Kringlen Hits in 35 Consecutive Games Friday, September 23rd, 2044 Keaton Kringlen continued his streak at The Tank today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Thunder Bay left fielder was 1-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 35 games. The Northern Lions BC were not as fortunate, losing 8-1 to the Panama City Piranhas. "Kringlen was hitting everything we threw at him," said Panama City manager Brian Talamante. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." Keaton Kringlen singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and grounded out in the 8th. Kringlen is presently hitting at a .349 pace with 36 home runs, 76 RBIs and has scored 75 times. |
