Pandas, Athletic Club KC Swap Players Wednesday, February 13th, 2041 Signed ... sealed ... and delivered. Montana has worked out terms of a deal to send 30-year-old 1B Jimbob Ghostkeeper to Athletic Club KC for 28-year-old 1B Francisco Vargas and 18-year-old minor league RHP Carlos Rosado. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week. Montana will retain a portion of Ghostkeeper's remaining contract. His lifetime stats show Ghostkeeper has batted .305 and collected 153 hits, 32 home runs and 105 RBIs. Vargas is batting .246 with 134 career base hits, including 27 doubles, no triples and 21 home runs with 73 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has played in 180 games, stolen 0 bases and compiled a .322 OBP. |
