A newcomer to the league, Crawford made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .500 average, 8 hits in 16 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 runs batted in. Where the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC designated hitter goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Crawford certainly made his mark last week.
