Phung Spins Masterpiece, No-Hits Mexico City Monday, July 16th , 2063 It was a fantastic day for Charleston Battery starter Pham Phung and a lousy day for the Mexico City Blue Demons. The Charleston hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Blue Demons, as the Battery cruised to a 3-0 win. When it was all over, Phung was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter. "The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Phung said later. He rang up 6 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk while shutting Mexico City down at Charleston Armory. For the year, Phung has compiled a 8-2 record with a 2.86 ERA.
