Hit Parade: Lemus Pops 5 Hits Saturday, July 21st , 2057 It was a sensational day at the plate for Ramón Lemus as he led the charge to a nifty 10-7 win over the Billy Goats. The Santa Catalina catcher was pure misery for the Colorado pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Lemus put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Mack Kilkeary, manager for the Billy Goats, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Ramón Lemus singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Brian Hill in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. This season, Lemus is batting .263 with 9 home runs.
