D.C., Detroit Swap Players Saturday, August 4th , 2063 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Divided announced today the acquisition of 21-year old minor league LF Pedro Esparza, 21-year old minor league RHP José Morán, and $5 in cash from the Detroit Rock City in exchange for 24-year old LHP Gerald Porter. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Divided, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." So far this season, in 10 relief appearances Porter has compiled an ERA of 3.72. He has pitched 29 innings, struck out 32, walked 8 and registered no saves. |
