League Punishes Pair for Fighting Wednesday, August 3rd , 2061 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Buckhead-Kingston contest at Megaffin Park. The Bowties Harry Kofmeister and the Ponies Mark Horton will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. In 59 games this season, Kofmeister has compiled a .269 batting average with 60 hits and 8 home runs. He has also scored 28 times and knocked in 29 runs. This season, Horton has logged no saves. He has thrown 9.1 innings, dished out 9 strikeouts and walked 6 while putting up a 0-1 mark and a 1.93 ERA. |
