Injury Sidelines Dewitt Chambers For Year Tuesday, August 9th , 2061 The season is apparently over for Dewitt Chambers. The Nova Scotia Leviathan medical staff informed the club that the right fielder will be out at least 6-7 months with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Chambers was hurt in the game against Kingston while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Thus far this year, Chambers is batting .252 with 4 home runs, 28 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
