Did Players-Only Meeting Have an Impact? Friday, September 9th , 2061 Thomas Austin recently held a players-only meeting with members of the Oakland Oaks, to discuss issues on and off the field during their recent struggles. But Austin now says he's not so sure if the meeting had any impact. "I mostly talked, some guys listened, some it seemed to roll right off their back. I don't know, I guess we'll see how the rest of the season goes," he said, while still being unwilling to discuss the specifics of what was talked about in the meeting. |
