Macías Slams 5 Hits for St. Louis Wednesday, August 16th , 2062 Ángel Macías had an answer for everything the Oakland Oaks threw at him at The BFIB. The St. Louis first baseman went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Coeur a win, 16-3. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Macías said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Ángel Macías singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off David Farías in the 8th.
