It's Official: Rosales Will Retire Wednesday, August 30th , 2062 Mario Rosales is stepping away from the game of baseball at the end of the season. The Charleston Battery player gave a brief explanation to reporters this afternoon. "It's time to step away from the game and work on phase two of my life - world domination," the 39-year-old joked. Rosales wisecracked for several minutes while reminiscing about high and low points of his career. At the end of the session, Rosales sent a personal message. "I truly thank all you fans." On his career ledger Rosales has a 14-8 mark, 91 appearances, 32 saves and a 4.07 ERA. He has 94 strikeouts in 117.1 innings pitched. |
