Faircloth Holds Divided Scoreless
Thursday, August 31st , 2062
Jack Faircloth bent a little, but he didn't break against the D.C. Divided. The Panama City Piranhas pitcher hurled a 6-hit, 1-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering 2 walks and tallying 4 strikeouts.
"Jack is good at getting out of jams," Piranhas manager Brian Talamante told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you."
This year, Faircloth has gone 10-7 with an ERA of 4.03 and has 73 strikeouts in 140.2 innings.
