5-Hit Game for Brooks
Monday, September 4th , 2062
Kingston second baseman Phil Brooks had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the D.C. Divided at Washington Stadium as the Ponies picked up a win, 13-5.

"He was patient up there," Kingston skipper Rayzor Ray told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Brooks has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

Phil Brooks singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This year, Brooks has socked 80 hits in 275 at-bats for a .291 average with 8 home runs. He is getting on base at a .317 pace and his totals also include 32 RBIs and 36 runs scored.
