van Campen Visits Children at Cancer Treatment Center Wednesday, September 13th , 2062 Oaks left fielder Flip van Campen took time out from his busy schedule today to visit a local children's cancer treatment center. van Campen signed autographs and took pictures with many of the young patients. He even gave several of them caps, jerseys, and gloves. "Just seeing the smiles on these kids' faces, knowing what they've gone through, it just warms your heart", said a beaming van Campen. When asked who his favorite player was, one little boy smiled broadly and exclaimed, "Flip van Campen!" |
