Setback for Leviathan and George King
Tuesday, October 17th , 2056
The Nova Scotia Leviathan received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that George King would miss even more time than had previously been expected. King, who is currently out with elbow inflammation, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 34-year-old reliever will have to spend another 2 weeks in treatment.
This season King has made 19 relief appearances, pitched 15.1 innings and struck out 23 with a record of no wins and no losses. He has compiled a 1.17 ERA and saved 1 games.
