League Gives Young Suspension Thursday, September 4th , 2059 The league commissioner has zero tolerance when it comes to touching an umpire. That's the reason Bo Young of the Thunder has been given a 3-game suspension. He apparently made too much contact with the home plate umpire while intensely questioning a called strike in a recent game at Grazing Hills with the Colorado Billy Goats. Young said he would not appeal and would serve his suspension beginning today. This year, Young has hit 12 home runs and posted a .272 batting average. |
