3L Announces Top Player Award Thursday, November 3rd , 2061 The future looks extremely bright for Efren Alog. At the age of 25, many players are still trying to find their way in Menard's Third League. Alog has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Menard's Third League Outstanding Hitter Award. "I didn't expect to hit .307 this year, that's for sure," the third baseman said. The Vancouver Grey Wolves star also put up a .403 on-base percentage this year, with 119 hits, 43 doubles, 2 triples, 22 home runs, 87 RBIs and 73 runs scored. David Vargas of the Kingston Ponies finished second in voting, while Chia-ch'ing Chen of the St. Louis Coeur finished third. |
