Echo Park Wins Lottery for 3B Koffie Saturday, February 13th, 2038 Team insiders were tight-lipped prior to today's deal that brought 29-year-old third baseman Komotay Koffie to Echo Park. Koffie is considered one of the league's A-list players and certainly will enhance any chances the Lakers have to win a playoff spot this year. A check of his lifetime stats shows Koffie has played in 304 games with a .256 batting average. Among his 281 hits are 37 home runs. He also has scored 152 runs and driven in 137 runs. |
