Montana Deals to Boston for Ruíz Saturday, May 8th, 2038 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Pandas and Patriots have agreed to a swap. Boston will get $4 in cash with Montana receiving 34-year-old SS Raúl Ruíz in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. Lifetime Ruíz has hit for a .242 average and totaled 485 hits, 76 home runs and 281 RBIs. |
