Memphis Mockingbirds Ship Farmer to Detroit Saturday, April 8th , 2062 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Mockingbirds announced today the acquisition of $5 in cash from the Detroit Rock City in exchange for 25-year old 2B Bob Farmer. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Mockingbirds, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Memphis will retain a portion of Farmer's remaining contract. |
