Nova Scotia third baseman Ronald Lithgoe thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Nova Scotia to a 13-7 win over Oakland. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Lithgoe said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Lithgoe was 3-for-4 on the day with 5 RBI. Ronald Lithgoe hit a three-run home run off Todd Denton in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Mark Walker in the 4th, struck out in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Manny Burgos in the 7th. Presently Lithgoe is hitting .206 with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. He has played in 16 games and scored 7 times. |
