Week's #1 Player: Texas's Hirigoyen Monday, July 9th, 2040 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Triple A, but last week Estanislao Hirigoyen of the Texas Bronze Sox reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Hirigoyen rocked opposing pitching for a .476 average (10-for-21), 2 home runs and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. This season in 51 games, Hirigoyen has hit at a .335 clip with 72 hits, 8 home runs, 20 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
