League Suspends Edwards and Moody for Brawl
Wednesday, July 13th, 2044
Nate Edwards of the Jersey City Tritons and Robert Moody of the Bakersfield Nobles will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Tritons-Nobles game at Jersey City Grounds.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Edwards and Moody will begin serving them soon.

Edwards is batting at a .241 pace this season, picking up 7 hits in 29 at-bats with no home runs, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

Currently Moody has a 5-1 won-lost record in 12 starts with a 5.15 ERA. He also has 40 strikeouts in 57.2 innings.
