Bakersfield's García Will Miss Season Wednesday, May 31st , 2062 The season is apparently over for José García. The Bakersfield Nobles medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 11-12 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. García was hurt in the game against Jersey City while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. In 6 starts this season, García has picked up 1 win while suffering 2 losses. He has pitched 38 innings, allowed 25 hits, struck out 26 and posted a 1.66 ERA. |
