Romero, Bueno Receive 2-Game Suspensions Friday, August 8th, 2042 Hot tempers flared and a few punches were thrown at the Baton Rouge and Forest City game yesterday and ended up with two players ejected. Vicente Romero of the Brass and Mariano Bueno of the Warriors have now been reprimanded and issued 2-game suspensions by the league commissioner for their parts in the fracas. In his season totals, Romero has 1 home run, .321 BA, .357 OBP, 3 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has played in 13 games. To date in 23 relief appearances, Bueno has recorded 13 saves while posting an ERA of 0.75 and 19 strikeouts in 24 innings pitched. His totals for the year also include 2 wins and 1 loss. |
