Monday, August 8th, 2044
Doctors in Pennsauken said Rook Ellington might not play anymore this year. The Flyers starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum during a game against the Monongahela Monsters and will be out for at least 7 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

This year in 14 starts, Ellington has recorded 3 wins and absorbed 3 losses. He has pitched 81.2 innings, allowed 99 hits, struck out 43 and has a 5.62 ERA.
