Big Bat Pays Off, Finley Player of the Week Monday, August 5th, 2041 Oscar Finley burst onto the USPL Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie right fielder for Bloomington garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 22-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .588 (10-for-17) with 1 home run and 5 RBIs last week. Currently Finley is hitting .337 and has collected 10 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 43 times, while playing in 52 games. |
