Bañaga Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Nashville
Friday, June 17th , 2061
It was a doubly miserable day for Sandross Bañaga of the Sacramento Redlegs, as he saw his 20-game hitting streak end and his team lose, 4-2, to the Nashville Hot Chickens at Hot Chickens Park. The 28-year-old third baseman was held hitless in 1 at-bat by the Hot Chickens.
"Anyone on a 20-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Nashville manager Paul Dawsey said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done."
