Bojórquez of Jersey City Crowned Best Player Monday, August 29th, 2044 At the age of 30, Víctor Bojórquez might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Jersey City third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .615 batting average. For his efforts Bojórquez collected the USPL Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 8 hits in 13 at-bats, no home runs and 2 RBIs last week in 3 games. Bojórquez is batting .273 with 2 home runs and 25 RBIs this season. |
