Alaskan Narrowly Wins Premier AAA Sunday, September 18th, 2044 The Premier AAA crown was certainly in question throughout the season, but the Alaskan Humpbacks have now finally claimed it. With a record of 71-30, the club has won its 7th division title. "It's special," starting pitcher Sixto Bustamante said when asked to sum up his feelings. "It's easy to take for granted what it's like to be on a winning team, but everyone who has ever been on a loser knows how sweet this is." Team manager Lou Cook said the focus for his club will now shift towards getting ready for the playoffs, where the team will be trying to win the 4th championship in franchise history. |
