Tony Parra, the Bakersfield Nobles 24-year-old right fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for USPL Triple A Player of the Week honors. He ripped 6 hits in 12 at-bats, compiling a .500 average with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs. This season Parra is batting .267 with 71 hits, 22 home runs, 68 RBIs, .340 OBP and has scored 49 runs. |
