Young-jae Chong Lost for Season Thursday, July 19th , 2057 A blow for Young-jae Chong today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 15 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Chong suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Baton Rouge Brass are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Chong's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year, Chong has made 10 relief appearances with no saves. In 22.1 innings, he has permitted 29 hits, fanned 16 hitters and recorded no wins and no losses with a 7.66 ERA. |
