Player of the Week: Rice of the Brass Monday, August 15th , 2061 Logan Rice is respected by most Baton Rouge Brass fans for his no-frills style of play. The 28-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Triple A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .636 average (7-for-11) with 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this year, Rice is batting .417 with 4 home runs. |
