Sánchez Earns August's Top Batter Prize in PAAA Thursday, September 1st , 2061 For a rookie just breaking in, Carlos Sánchez certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the PAAA Batter of the Month award for August. The 25-year-old second baseman for the Syracuse Starks hit .342 with 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and 16 runs scored. This year, Sánchez has hit at a .281 clip with 88 hits, 15 home runs, 56 RBIs and 50 runs scored. |
