Baldwin and Ward Suspended for Free-for-All Wednesday, August 29th , 2057 Baden Baldwin of Baton Rouge and Steve Ward of Syracuse were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Baldwin will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Ward was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This year, Baldwin has hit 3 home runs and posted a .247 batting average. Ward has made 1 relief appearance this year and notched no saves. To date in 88 innings he has a 1-12 record, 5.83 ERA with 62 strikeouts and 37 walks. |
