The Math Says - Jersey City Out of Playoffs
Wednesday, September 7th , 2061
It's the better-luck-next-time point of the season for the Jersey City Tritons. The club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today, and will turn their attention to next year's campaign.
"You know, the average player doesn't get that many seasons, so every time you're eliminated, it hurts," said Tritons reliever Jeremiah Harris.
Jersey City last appeared in the postseason in 2047. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 23 times in their 26-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Tritons have missed the playoffs 7 times. Jersey City has won the PL AAA Championship 6 times in their history.
