O'Rourke Wins PAAA Best Player Award Monday, August 7th , 2062 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Kevin O'Rourke, the Sacramento Redlegs 23-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for USPL Triple A Player of the Week honors. He ripped 6 hits in 12 at-bats, compiling a .500 average with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. So far this year in 72 games, O'Rourke is hitting .255 with 5 home runs, 25 RBIs and 28 runs scored. |
