Rehab Road Tough for Starks Mike Hancock Wednesday, August 9th , 2062 Mike Hancock, center fielder for the Syracuse Starks, was making great progress in healing a torn ligament in his thumb according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Mike was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least 2 weeks before he will be able to rejoin the club." This season in 37 games, Hancock has hit at a .212 clip with 32 hits, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
