USPL Triple A Selects #1 Starter in September Saturday, October 1st , 2061 In September Sacramento starter Tom Ward mystified USPL Triple A hitters and carried off the Pitcher of the Month honors by chalking up a 3-0 record in 3 starts. The 27-year-old Ward added 19 strikeouts in 25.1 innings and 6 walks to his season record and compiled a 0.36 ERA. Opposing batters hit .125 against him.
