Leslie Takes PAAA #1 Pitcher Trophy Sunday, October 1st , 2062 The Pitcher of the Month in the USPL Triple A for September was Montreal's star reliever Lance Leslie. "I was wondering if relievers were even eligible for this thing," Leslie joked with reporters. "I guess the voters do know there's actual pitchers down there in the pen." The Machine bullpen ace collected no saves and 11 strikeouts in 13.2 innings, holding the opposition to a .259 average and posting a 1.32 ERA and a 2-0 record. Leslie has marked up a career 12-and-16 record with no saves and a 3.51 ERA. |
