Hits Blitz for Starks Dunham Friday, September 13th , 2058 Matt Dunham accomplished one of the rarer feats in baseball when he hit for the cycle against the Port Huron Blitzkrieg in the 8-2 Syracuse Starks win at Port Huron Park. Afterward, Dunham acknowledged that his accomplishment was special, but said he was more interested in helping the Starks win. "Maybe one day I'll look back on this with more meaning, but right now I just want to go out tomorrow and put some good swings on the ball and help my club win another game," Dunham said. On his historic day, he went 4-for-5 with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored -- and also got a spot in the history books. Matt Dunham tripled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Eric Morris in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
