The future looks extremely bright for Ricardo Cantú. At the age of 25, many players are still trying to find their way in USPL Triple A.

Cantú has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USPL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award.

"I didn't expect to hit .325 this year, that's for sure," the left fielder said.

The Sacramento Redlegs star also put up a .420 on-base percentage this year, with 102 hits, 18 doubles, no triples, 33 home runs, 75 RBIs and 59 runs scored.

He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Domingo Segura of the Tortolita Drummers finished second in voting, while António Macías of the Calgary Lynx finished third.
