Flyers Bill Spillman Sidelined Monday, May 8th , 2062 When Bill Spillman was hurt against the Kansas Rainbeaus, the Pennsauken Flyers were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 32-year-old second baseman suffered a broken kneecap running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Spillman would miss 4-5 months of the season. To date this year, Spillman is batting .182 with 1 home run. |
