League Rules McClure Out 2 Games Tuesday, May 22nd , 2063 The Westwood Sixshooters were officially notified that third baseman Fred McClure had been suspended for an altercation that occurred in yesterday's game with the Rails at Rails Ballpark. After arguing a called third strike by the plate umpire, an enraged McClure threw his batting helmet toward home after he reached the dugout. That action got him ejected and a 2-game suspension. "I threw the helmet and I shouldn't have. But I don't deserve the suspension. It was a bad call that started this whole mess." To date this season, McClure is hitting .309 with 3 home runs. |
