Frank McConnell Injured, Out for Year Wednesday, May 30th , 2063 The season is finished for Frank McConnell of the Yakima Hops. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Hops starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal. |
