Ghosts Walter and Sixshooters Day Suspended for Fight Friday, June 9th , 2062 After an intense confrontation, both the Ghosts Dominic Walter and the Sixshooters Tim Day were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Casper-Westwood game. Dominic Walter will miss 5 games, while Tim Day was suspended for 3 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Dominic Walter commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Currently Walter is batting .274 with 1 home run and 8 RBIs. So far this season, Day has compiled a 0-0 record with a 2.77 ERA. |
